International Picnic Day

On Monday 18th June, the East Malling Centre celebrated International Picnic Day with a big Community Picnic after school. Local families were invited to bring a basket and a blanket and join us outside the Café. It was lovely to see so many people in attendance and to see the children enjoying themselves! We had hula hoops, bean bags and beach balls for outdoor games, as well as giant Ludo and Snakes & Ladders. There were free strawberries provided by Fare Share and the Centre Café was open serving snacks, drinks and ice lollies.
Everyone agreed that it was a lovely event and one which we would like to arrange more regularly. If you would like to help with the organisation of the next picnic, or suggest other events for the Centre then please get in touch: office.eastmallingcentre@gmail.com
