Royal Wedding Preparations
Everyone at The East Malling Centre is getting very excited about our Royal Wedding Tea Party! We are planning a large community event, with a live showing of the wedding on the big screen, children's activities, a raffle and afternoon teas. The big day is on Saturday 19th May from 11.45 - 3.00pm, to book your tickets please get in touch or pop in to our café.
In preparation for the big day, local children have been making table decorations, flags and stained glass windows. If you or your child would like to get involved, please join us on Monday or Thursday afternoons in the Centre Café. We meet at 3pm and finish by 4.40pm.
The lovely ladies from our Craft and Chat group have made an amazing 120 metres of bunting to decorate our Hall and Café. The fabric they used was all donated and they gave their time for free, the finished products is absolutely beautiful!
The Centre have been collecting raffle prizes for our 'Royal Wedding Gift' raffle. All the prizes will be wrapped in gift paper and winners will be able to choose a present! If you would like to donate to the raffle, please drop your donations in to the Centre Café or the office.
